Wear Silly Earrings

My wife used to often remind her sisters and girlfriends to “wear silly earrings” every once in a while. This was her reminder to them to not take like too seriously. Especially to the point that you remove the ability to laugh at yourself. It’s this mindset that I feel I’ve been able to embody since her passing. It won’t come as a surprise but I’ve learned the delicacy of our time her in her absence. That none of this is as real or as intense as we often believe it to be.
